Note
- O'clock used only for full hour. For example: 2 O'clock (02:00), 7 O'clock (07:00), 11 O'clock (11:00) etc.
- Quarter stands for 15 minutes and Half stands for 30 minutes.
- "Past" is used for minutes that have passed ahead to a particular full hour. For example: 18 minutes past 5 (05:18), 25 minutes past 12 (12:25), A quarter past 2 (02:15), Half past 2 (02:30) etc.
- "To" is used for minutes that have remained to make a full hour. For example: 18 minutes to 5 (04:42), 25 minutes to 12 (11:35), A quarter to 2 (01:45), Half to 2 (01:30) etc.
- "15 minutes past" = "A quarter past" | "15 minutes to" = "A quarter to" | "30 minutes past" = "Half past" | "30 minutes to" = "Half to"
- There is a formal and easy way to tell time someone such as 05:18 (Five Eighteen), 12:25 (Twelve twenty-five), 04:42 (Four forty-two) etc.
- In formal way the first digit of minutes from 01 to 09 is 0(zero), which pronounced as O (Oh-ओ ). for example: 01:06 (One Oh Six), 07:09 (Seven Oh nine) etc.
- There is no 24 hour system in English. In formal way the 24 Hour format: 01:17 (One Seventeen A.M.), 14:03 (Two Oh three P.M.), 12:00 (Twelve P.M.), 00:00 (Twelve A.M.) etc.
